OFSTED

My first Ofsted inspection was carried out in April 2009. I was awarded a grade 2 (Good) for my setting throughout all the inspection criteria

"She has introduced a system of planning that ensures all children enjoy their time in the setting and make good progress towards the early learning goals"

"The environment is safe, comfortable and steps are taken to ensure all children are included and involved in a wide range of interesting activities"

"The childminder works in partnership with parents and carers, valuing their contributions and fully involving them in all aspects of the child's care and well being"

"The childminder interacts very well with the children, actively engaging in their play and encouraging them to have fun. She talks to them gently and explains what they are doing and why and also what is planned. She engages their interest by building on what they enjoy and gives them sufficient time and attention to support their learning and development effectively"
